2026 FINAL/2027 PRELIMINARY TAX BILLS WERE MAILED AUGUST 7, 2026.

3RD QUARTER GRACE PERIOD HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH SEPTEMBER 1, 2026.
ANY PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER SEPTEMBER 1, 2026, WILL BE ASSESSED AN INTEREST PENALTY CALCULATED FROM AUGUST 1, 2026, THROUGH THE DATE PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.

When are my Tax and Water/Sewer payments due?

February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1.

Please review your Utility bills carefully; if the property is occupied and you receive a bill with zero usage, please notify the billing department as soon as possible.

Also, an Estimated Bill means the Meter or the MXU is not reading the actual usage.  Please contact our office to set up an appointment.  Ordinance 2023-15 addresses the steps we take on our end to adjust the billing once we have an actual read.

PLEASE READ: if you have not yet had your water service line inspected for Lead, please contact the water department at 609-490-5117

FINAL READS are ordered via email – tax@hightstownborough.com or faxed to 609-371-0267 (please include seller, buyer and closing date).

There is a 10-day grace period.

Payment must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the 10th of the month that taxes are due. If the 10th falls on a weekend or a holiday, the grace period is extended to the next business day.
