HIGHTSTOWN BOROUGH RANKS 24TH IN REPORT RANKING THE BEST CITIES TO LIVE IN NEW JERSEY!
In a just released report issued by Chamberofcommerce.org that ranks the best cities to live in New Jersey, Hightstown ranks #24 out of the 565 cities in the state!
The methodology used in the ranking covered five main factors: employment (number of establishments, median earnings); housing (owner-occupied housing with a mortgage, monthly housing costs); quality of life (work commute, poverty levels); education (percentage with a bachelor’s degree or higher); and health (obesity ratios). Afterward, the research team weighed the eight sub-factors mentioned above in parenthesis equally.
A top priority of the Mayor and Borough Council’s goals is to improve the Borough residents’ quality of life; and living in a city ranked 24th out of 565 municipalities in the state shows that Hightstown Borough is a great place to live, work and play.
