ALL COLLECTIONS ARE WEATHER PERMITTING

When placing leaves curbside, please follow these guidelines. Cooperation from every resident is important to stay in compliance with the NJ Storm Water regulations.

  1. Place your leaves curbside in neat piles no sooner than 7 days prior to your collection time. Leaves must also be placed 10 feet from any storm drain.
  2. Do not park vehicles in front of leaf piles. If we can’t reach them, we can’t collect them. No twigs, branches, trash or other debris are to be included. These items have separate collection times.
  3. Residents on county roads (Monmouth Street, North and South Main Street, Stockton Street and Etra Road) will be collected by the county. Please see attached additional Mercer County schedule.

Please contact our Public Works Department at 609-490-5115 or publicworks@hightstownborough.com with additional questions.
