Walking Bridge Update
GREENWAY WALKING BRIDGE UPDATE Hightstown Borough has awarded a contract for the walking bridge and a pre-construction meeting was held on Feb. 7th. Work will begin on the bridge as soon as weather allows, with the first step being the foundations. Once the bridge is manufactured (estimated time is 6-8 weeks), it will be set on the pilings by crane. It is proposed that the project will be completed by September. Watch for the progress at the location as this long awaited bridge over the Peddie Lake Dam takes shape. Once the project is complete, we will have a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration.
