New Residents' Page

Welcome to Hightstown!

This page is designed to help you navigate quickly through our site to find the information you'll be looking for as a new (or potential) resident.

Before you move in, you will need to know who supplies our utilities - electric, gas, water, and telephone. Go to Hightstown-at-a-Glance for that information and more.

Our Transportation page provides commuter information, traffic and construction advisories and links to nearby airports. You can also access a map of Hightstown and driving directions

As a new resident, you will need to register to vote, or change the address on your voter registration. You must be registered within Mercer County no later than 29 days before the election in which you wish to vote.

Council meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Planning Board meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, also at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. This site contains Council and Planning Board meeting agendas and minutes, and information about our Borough government.

Lastly, the complete and up-to-date text of our Borough Code will soon be available here online. You can use the Search function at the bottom of each page of our web to find relevant topics within our Code or anywhere on our site, as well as on the World Wide Web.

We hope you will explore our site and let us know what has been helpful, and what else you'd like to see here. Comments can be e-mailed to Borough Clerk Candace Gallagher.

Thanks for visiting, and again, WELCOME TO HIGHTSTOWN!
